Who are we?
Wings for Children is a charity organisation, operating closely with the organisation 'Jeugd en Luchtvaart' (Youth and Aviation). Since their Day 27 in September 2007, the organisation has been run by just 4 enthusiastic volunteers.
Together they have seen their Fly Day expand into a heart-warming, recurrent event, that leaves a lasting, and special, memory for all participants, volunteers and sponsors.

History and Future
Only 2 years after founding 'Jeugd en Luchtvaart' ('Youth and Aviation'), the organisation was approached to organise a unique event.
Encouraged by Mr Van den Berghe and Mr Van Gaever, they received a request to organise an ‘Aviation Day’ for disabled children.

Fly Day 28, September 29th, 2009
We have already started organising Day 28. On Tuesday 29th of September 2009 we will again create a truly unique event for the participants!

Wings for Children organises
a unique event bi-annually
We give children with limitations their first 'air experience', crossing language barriers and boundaries. Quite literally they are 'high in the sky'.
Gadgets, full-size cartoon characters and a unique certificate for every participant sums up the event.
The return: We see the smile of a happy child.
